How to Get from Antalya Airport to Side
Side is one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Turkish Riviera, about 65 km east of Antalya Airport. Here is a clear, honest comparison of every way to make the journey, so you can pick the option that fits your budget and travel style.
Distance and travel time
Antalya Airport (AYT) is roughly 65 km from Side, and the drive takes about 55 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes depending on traffic and your exact hotel. Most of the route follows the smooth D400 coastal highway, so it is a comfortable ride the whole way.
If your hotel is in the neighbouring resort areas of Sorgun or Kumköy, the distance and time are almost identical, since they sit right next to Side.
Option 1: Private airport transfer (recommended)
A private transfer is the most comfortable and stress-free option. A driver meets you at arrivals holding a name sign, helps with your luggage, and takes you directly to your hotel door with no stops or waiting for other passengers.
